Motorcycle police from the St. Louis region, Kansas City and Springfield lead the 495-vehicle procession Sunday from Owensville High School to Rosebud’s Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery for the funeral of Hermann Police Det. Sgt. Mason Griffith who died March 12 in a line-of-duty shooting. As the lead elements of the funeral procession entered Rosebud, mourners were still leaving school grounds.
