Arlene Joyce Houston, 88, Dixon, passed away Oct. 20, 2022, at her residence in Dixon.
She was born July 20, 1934, to the late Erton and Orilla (Spalding) Godfrey at Stowe, Vt.
She was united in marriage to Ernest Barnes Houston Oct. 5, 1949.
Arlene attended Roubidoux Springs, Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Waynesville.
She was preceded in death by husband, Ernest; parents, Erton and Orilla; children, Geraldine, Barbara, James “Jim” and Robert Houston; infant brother and sister; and sister Hilda Grimes.
Arlene is survived by children, Nancy Hudgens of Hardwick, Vt., Ernest Houston, Jr. and wife Pam and Debra Parkhurst, all of Dixon, William “Bill” Houston and wife Emily of Cameron, N.C. and Michael Houston and wife Dawn of Lake Elmore, Vt.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A Remembrance of Life ceremony for family and friends will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions suggested to Kingdom Hall in Waynesville.
