Bernard Paul “Ben” Boillot, 67, Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 13, 1953, to Lester Rathel and Mary Ann (Dudenhoefer) Boillot in Jefferson City.
He was united in marriage April 9, 1983, to Diana Marie Williams in Jefferson City at St. Peter Catholic Church.
Ben was a 1971 graduate of Linn High School.
He was employed with the Missouri Department of Conservation for 35 years as a survey crew supervisor until retiring Sept. 1, 2007. During his retirement he enjoyed working at Menards. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 2693.
Ben was an avid Jack Daniels Collector, relishing his bi-yearly visits to Lynchburg, Tenn. to their distillery. He enjoyed deer hunting, target shooting with his brother, Vincent, and Friday night bingo at the DAV. His best times were with his family and taking care of his mother, especially when they went to Sunday morning breakfast.
He was preceded in death by father, Lester and brother-in-law, Brian “Kip” Williams.
He is survived by mother, Mary Ann of Linn; siblings, George and wife Norma of Washington, Mary Catherine and husband Roy Jones of Westphalia; Margaret Ann and husband Curtis Thessen of Lebanon; Joseph and wife Barb Boillot of Columbia; Vincent and wife Penny Boillot of Linn; Eugene and wife Sandy Boillot of St. Louis and Charles Boillot of Union; brother-in-law, Bill and wife Lanie Williams of Wardsville; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., June 18, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with prayer service at 3:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 19, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Joshua J. Duncan officiating. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Jefferson City.
Memorials contributions are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to Disabled American Veterans.
The general public is welcome to attend the services while following social distancing guidelines. Please stay six feet apart and avoid close contact. Disposable masks will be provided by Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home if needed.
