Kevin and Glenda Bexten, Linn, wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany of Linn to Garrett Haslag, son of Andrew and Karen Haslag of Jefferson City.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Bernadine and the late Leo J. Brandt and Elizabeth Bexten-Groner (Clem Groner) and the late Steve Bexten. She is a 2018 graduate of Maryville University with a Masters of Occupational Therapy. She is currently employed at the University of Missouri Ellis Fischel Cancer Rehabilitation Center.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Agatha and the late Herman Haslag and Emil and Gladys Kampeter. He is a 2018 graduate of William Woods University with a Masters in Education Administration. He is currently employed with the Cole County R-5 school district.
