Bruce Allan Sieg, age 55, Bonnots Mill, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
Bruce was born March 22, 1965, to the late Chester Sieg, Sr. and Elizabeth (Linnenbrink) Sieg in Jefferson City.
He was united in marriage March 18, 2000, to Jennifer Zimmer at St. Louis of France Catholic Church in Bonnots Mill. She survives of the home.
Bruce was a 1984 graduate of Fatima High School. He was employed as a truck driver for local farmers and Osage County Concrete, as an employee with the Osage County Special Road District, Scholastic in Jefferson City and was currently employed with Morris Packaging in Jefferson City. Bruce was a member of St. Louis of France Catholic Church in Bonnots Mill and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed hunting, Peterbilt Trucks, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, watching the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals baseball games, and loved his fried chicken.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Sr. and Elizabeth; brothers, Jim Mantle, Chester Sieg, Jr. and Richard “Rich” Sieg; sister, Cathy Rehagen; nephews, Joshua Dolce and Gabriel Zimmer; mother-in-law, Theresa “Terry” Susan Meysenburg Zimmer; and father-in-law, Andrew Earnest Zimmer.
In addition to his spouse of 20 years, he is survived by son, Isaac and daughter, Nicole, both of the home; brothers, Gerald Mantle and wife Nancy of Taos and Leo “Bud” Sieg and wife Shirley of Jefferson City; sisters, Helen Ferguson and husband Jim of Linn, Patty Grothoff and husband Mike of Olathe, Kan., Mary Huhn and husband Bob of Koeltztown, and Doris Dolce and husband Chas of Jefferson City; sister-in-law, Rita Mantle of Loose Creek; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at Morton Chapel in Linn. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, June 12, at St. Louis of France Catholic Church in Bonnots Mill with Fr. Anthony R. Rinaldo officiating. Interment followed in the St. Louis of France Parish Cemetery.
