Chamois has several personal bests at South Callaway
Several Chamois athletes set personal bests at Friday’s South Callaway track meet.
“This was a good meet for us, and it was the best day to run,” said Coach John Leach. “We had many season bests against a very talented field.”
The 3200m relay team of Caleb Keilholz, Evert Mehmert, Bill Kirsch, and Jaxon Wuelling earned a third-place medal with a time of 9:42.
Individually, Keilholz claimed third in the 3200m run (12:42), and J. Wuelling was sixth in the 800m run (2:24), while Kaden Wuelling was sixth in the 110m hurdles (19.32).
On the girls’ side, Madeline Gerloff was fifth in the long jump (12-9.25) and medaled in the 3200m run with a fifth-place time of 14:40.
