Chamois track teams compete at SMCC meet

Chamois senior Caleb Keilholz led the way at last Tuesday’s Show-Me Central Conference meet at Russellville. He won the shot put (12.03m) and the 3200m run (10:59.87). Dawson Brandt won the discus (38.44m) and Kaden Wuelling was second in the 110m hurdles (18.55) and the 300m hurdles (47.57), Brayden Cotton finished second in the discus (32.4m), and Bill Kirsch earned second in the 400m dash (57.31), followed closely by Jaxon Wuelling (3, 58.10).

For the Lady Pirates Emma Mehmert finished sixth (3:03.89) in the 800m run, Savanah Sieg was sixth in the shot put (7.34m), and Raigen Cramer took seventh in the 200m dash (33.08).

Here are the remaining results.

100m dash: Evert Mehmert (7, 13.26); Emma Mehmert (13, 16.76)

200m dash: Evert Mehmert (5, 26.43)

300m hurdles: Bill Kirsch (4, 1:02.60)

800m run: J. Wuelling (4, 2:18.43)

1600m run: Brandt (4, 5:50.12)

3200m run: Grayson Gerloff (5, 13:02.49)

LJ: Max McKague (11, 3.83m), Oliver Carter (12, 3.65m); Cramer (8, 3.56m)

TJ: McKague (5, 9.84m)

Discus: Sieg (7, 23.35m)

Shot put: Cotton (3, 11.55m); Sieg (6, 7.34m)

Javelin: McKague (7, 25.76m), Landen Northway (11, 19.51m); Emma Mehmert (7, 19.33m), Sieg (9, 18.19m)

At the JH level, Carly Schollmeyer finished fourth in the 1600m run (7.22.15), seventh in the triple jump (6.81m), and eighth in the long jump (3.25m).

Xavier Wideman earned fifth in the 200m dash (32.25) and the long jump (3.73m), and ninth in the 100m dash (15.58). Liam Halbert posted a sixth-place time of 3:03.13 in the 800m run while finishing sixth in the 1600m run (6:44.34) and discus (18.01m), and 10th in the long jump (3.37m).
