When any animal—a wild dog, feral cat, snake, or rat—is cornered with no escape, it is the most dangerous, especially if it has been injured.
I have personal experience with this from trying to rescue a feral kitten. I had the kitten cornered and foolishly tried to pick it up while wearing leather work gloves. It bit right through the gloves into my thumb.
Likewise, a rat would never attack a healthy person when they can escape. Once cornered with no chance of retreat, they will lash out.
This analogy does not only apply to wild animals. The military is well aware that when the enemy has nothing to lose, it becomes more dangerous than it would otherwise be.
There is a Chinese proverb that says, gou ji tiao qiang: a cornered dog will jump over the wall, meaning a desperate person is capable of doing anything.
It is clear that the Democrat party has become cornered and desperate, turning to pain relievers to stop the pounding in their head and the pains in their chest.
They are dangerous, even lashing out at their leaders like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. after he voted with Republicans for a continuing resolution to keep the federal government open.
Knowing that they are losing, the Democrat party has turned to its playbook for a favorite tactic — scaring senior citizens with lies.
Democrats are running commercials on TV claiming that Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will mean the end of Social Security and Medicare. Schumer said, “Their goal is clear, destroy Social Security from within.”
The truth: Because of DOGE recommendations, the Social Security Administration (SSA) will now require beneficiaries to use two-factor authentication with SSA’s “my Social Security” service or visit a local Social Security office to prove their identity when making a change to their direct deposits.
This change is to protect recipients. Up to 40 percent of the callers to the SSA requesting changes to monthly deposits are fraudsters.
According to a July 2024 report from the inspector general, from 2015 through 2022, the SSA made $71.8 billion in improper payments.
For this work and more, Musk and the DOGE team are demonized and facing death threats.
U.S. Rep. Tim Walberg, R-Mich., said it best on a Sunday talk show: “Fraudsters scream the loudest.”
One thing that must irk the Democrats is the progress President Donald Trump has made with illegal immigration, including arresting and deporting criminals in his short time in office. They have to attack Trump for this; it shows the world the incompetence and failures of the Biden Administration.
Attacking Trump also distracts everyone from his other accomplishments including Peace talks with Ukraine and Russia, the release of American hostages by Hamas, freedom for George Glezmann from the Taliban, signing an executive order to stop biological males from playing girls’ sports, and major investments in America including $500 billion by tech giant Apple and $1.4 trillion by the United Arab Emirates.
According to Musk, DOGE has saved Americans $130 billion or $807.45 per taxpayer. This includes money spent — wasted — by Democrats to promote progressive policies around the globe, including $10 million for gender equity in the Mexican workplace, $145K USDA consulting contract for Peru climate change activities, $1.6M DEI contract for “strategies for implementing ‘social emotional’ learning” and $3 million for safe and inclusive work environments in the southern African country of Lesotho.

DOGE’s goal is to cut government spending by $1 trillion, or 15 percent. Musk reported on March 27, in an interview with Bret Baier on Fox News’ “Special Report,” that they had discovered a charge of $830 million for a simple 10-question survey for the National Park system.
Musk says they are succeeding in reducing government spending by “$4 billion dollars a day.”
A country going bankrupt would be disastrous. Eight business leaders, including Musk, have put their lives on hold as volunteers to save America from bankruptcy.
It’s hard to understand why Democrats are so against stopping fraud and waste until you realize they are feeling powerless and insignificant.
Remember, the level of attacks and profanity from the Democrats is evidence that what Trump is doing is working. It will get worse. And that is a good thing.
