David P. Roark, 70, Holts Summit, formerly of Linn, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 17, 1954, to the late Richard and Betty (Benson) Roark in Chamois.
He attended school in Linn and spent his life in the construction industry.
David was united in marriage to Vickie Carter Aug. 16, 2024, in Linn.
David was preceded in death by parents, Richard and Betty; daughter, Sheila Roark; brother, Tom Roark; and sister, Debbie Scheulen.
He is survived by spouse,Vickie; sons, Jim Roark and wife Lacey of Westphalia and Matt Roark and wife Rochelle of Loose Creek; four grandchildren; brothers, Richard Volkart, Jimmy Volkart and Robert Pearon, all of Linn, Dennis Volkart of the state of Georgia, Leland Roark of Brazito and Dallas Roark of the state of California; and sister, Jeannie Roark of Linn.
Visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m., Saturday, March 22, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at Morton Chapel in Linn with Randy Miser officiating.
Memorial contributions suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
