Elmer Clarence Rademann, 87, Folk, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024, at Stonebridge Westphalia Hills.

He was born March 13, 1937, to the late  Anton and Verona (Moeller) Rademann in Folk.

He spent his life working on the family farm.  Elmer was a life-long member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Folk and participated in the Men’s Organization. 

He enjoyed hunting coon at night and especially enjoyed deer hunting.  While on the farm, Elmer loved to ride on his Gator.

He was preceded in death by parents, Anton and Verona; sisters, Leona Kauffman and husband Bill, Ann Wilson and husband Floyd, Clara Farris and husband Bill and Regina Farris and husband George; brothers, Clarence Rademann and wife Coty, Edwin Rademann and wife Frances, Alfred Rademann and Louis Rademann and wife Jo; brother-in-law, Anthony “Tony” Distler; niece, Mary Anderson; and nephews, Gary Rademann, Keith Distler and Mike Distler.

Elmer is survived by sisters, Agnes Distler, and Mary Wekenborg and husband Bill, all of Jefferson City; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family members.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Dec. 31 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Folk with the Rev. Dylan Schrader officiating.

Interment was in St. Anthony Parish Cemetery in Folk.

Memorial contributions suggested to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
