Fatima’s boys and girls track teams won the Show-Me Conference on Thursday at New Bloomfield with several top finishes.

“It was a very competitive meet this year with our boys winning by just 4.5 points over Russellville and our girls winning by a single point over Russellville,” said Coach Marc Bridges. “These wins truly were a team effort.”

Each team posted 16 All-Conference performances, with the boys winning five individual events and the girls claiming victory in six.

Caleigh Huot was named the 2023 girls individual conference MVP with the most points at this year’s meet at 34. She won the 400m dash (1:03), and was second in the 100m (13.33), 200m (26.99), and the long jump (15-3.5).

Lauren Berhorst was a double conference champ, winning the 1600m run (PR 5:51), and the 3200m (12:44). Corinn Karst claimed first in the high jump (4-7.75), while Lucy Crede won the triple jump (30-5), and Sarah Groene was the 800m champion in 2:38.
