Two Fatima JV golfers earned first and second and the team won the Cuba Invitational on Monday.
“The boys played very well,” said Coach Scott Kilgore. “The boys were very excited to place first in their last meet of the season. It gives them even more incentive to work hard over the summer to continue to improve their game. We are very pleased and proud of the way these guys have improved over this short season. We hope to see just as much or even more improvement for going into next year’s golf season.”
Nick Howe and Levi Robinson tied for first place with a 45, and Xavier Stuecken took second with a 46, followed by Toren Orscheln and Cody Bertels (50), Alex Reichel (52), Josh Plassmeyer (55), Austin Schenewerk (57), and Ryan Jansen (63).
