Gary H. Maasen, 76, Linn, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Jefferson City Manor in City.
He was born to the late Fred and Wilma (Jaegers) Maasen.
He was united in marriage to Barbara Wolfe August of 1963 in Linn.
Gary was a 1962 graduate of Linn High School. He was employed at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where he retired from in 1999 after working for 37 years. Gary was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn.
He was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Wilma; and sister, Patricia Oidtman.
He is survived by wife of 57 years, Barbara; son, Scott Maasen and wife Tonette of Springfield; daughter: Marla Eisterhold and husband Mike of Rich Fountain; grandchildren, Samantha, Adam, Matthew and Hannah Eisterhold, Jordan Wieberg, Cody Phillips, Samantha Hazelwood and Levi Maasen; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Nicholas and Brooklyn Wieberg, August Eisterhold and Averie Hazelwood; sisters, Mary Lou Lueker of Washington, Betty Jane Bill of Fulton and Kathy Loethen of Linn; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
