Harold “Tobe” D. Fletcher, 90, Holts Summit, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021, peacefully at Capitol Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

He was born April 28, 1930, to Guy Walter and Lillie Maude (Meng) Fletcher at home in Cedar City.

He was united in marriage to Ruby L. (Hardin) Fletcher June 10, 1952, in Jefferson City at Calvary Baptist Church.

Harold was drafted into the military Jan. 4, 1952 and served his country during the Korean war. During his time in the military, he received The Korean service medal with two bronze service stars, National Defense service medal, United Nations service medal, and a good conduct medal. After active duty he went on to serve his country eight years in the Army Reserve under Universal Military Training.

After serving his country, Harold was employed with Vinson Antwiler in Holts Summit and later the Missouri Highway Department from January of 1955 until his retirement in November 1985.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, at Hillbilly Holler in Morrison. Full military honors will follow.
