Harold P. Jaegers, 78, Bonnots Mill, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020, at Ashland Health Care.

He was born Feb. 3, 1942, to August and Bernadine (Maassen) Jaegers, in Loose Creek.

He was united in marriage to Nancy Scheppers Nov. 6, 1965, at Immacu- late Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson City. She preceded him in

death on January 15, 2020.
Harold attended Immaculate Conception School in

Loose Creek and attended Linn Technical College from 1972 to 1975 graduating with a degree in Auto Mechanics and Auto Body. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968 during Vietnam Conflict. He was employed at Von Hoffman Press in Jefferson City from April 1968, until his retirement in May 2003. Harold was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Frankenstein, Linn VFW Post #4756, Linn Lions Club and volunteered at the Linn Nutritional Center and delivered Meal on Wheels.

He enjoyed St. Louis Cardinal baseball, NASCAR, International Harvester tractors, working cattle on his farm, watching westerns on television, camping, going to Branson to see the shows, collecting toy tractors, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Harold was preceded in death by parents, August and Bernadine; spouse, Nancy; son, Michael; brother, Harry; father and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Helen Scheppers; brothers-in-law, Henry Wieberg and Gil Massman; and sisters-in-law, Janet Jaegers and Agnes Wieberg.

He is survived by daughters, Mary Beadenkopf and husband Cody of Moravian Falls, N.C. and Melanie Wolfe of Linn; grandchildren, Adam, Curtis, Lauren, Sydney, and Lily Strope, Lane (Brittny), Lori and Cody Wolfe, Zoey and Annabell Jaegers, and Chip, Joshua, and Ne- vaeh Beadenkopf; great-grandchildren, Nora, Ryker and Spencer Wolfe; sister, Alvina Jaegers (Charlie) Mathews of Linn; brothers-in-law, Larry (Paula) Scheppers of Linn, Tom (Diane) Scheppers and Bob (Julie) Scheppers, all of Wardsville; sisters-in-law, Ginny Massman of Franken- stein, Marian (Bernie) Forck of Chamois, Sharon (Dave) Vieth of Taos, Franny (Butch) Schell of Wardsville, and Carol (Tom) Backes of St. Thomas; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 12, at Morton Chapel in Linn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1p.m. Monday, July 13, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Frankenstein with Fr. Colin Franklin as the celebrant. Full Military Honors will follow the funeral Mass. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
