James Dean Hill, 61, Hermann, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021 at his home.
He was born Oct. 17, 1959, to the late Edwin G. Hill and Murealdean (Murray) Carlisle in St. Louis.He was united in marriage to Della M. (Strauss) Hill. Oct. 27, 1979, in Bellflower.
James was employed as a welder. He was also an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church.
James was preceded in death by parents, Edwin and Murealdean; brothers, Jimmy Darrel Hill and George Judd, Jr.; sisters, Mellissa Sanchez and Tonya Judd; and grandson, Matthew James Hogue.
He is survived by wife, Della, of the home; daughters, Jessica Riggins and husband Jimmy of Morrison, Kiristie Hogue and husband Jim of Montgomery City, and Angela Stratman and husband Jason of Wentzville; granddaughters, Desiree and Terri McPhee, Adelynn Hogue and Alexis and Isabelle Stratman; grandsons, James Hagedorn and Jacob and Ethan Hogue; sisters, Debra Johnson of Wright City and Barbara Sisson and husband Roy of Bowling Green.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 27, at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann.
