Janet Delores Struemph, 73, Jefferson City passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at her home.
She was born Oct. 26, 1947, to the late Joseph Herman and Johanna Marie “Jennie” (Borgmeyer) Struemph in Freeburg.
She graduated from Fatima High School in Westphalia in 1965.
Janet was employed as a secretary for the State of Missouri as well as several other organizations in Jefferson City.
She was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Jennie; brother, Charles Struemph; brother and sister-in-law, Herbert “Herbie” and Patricia Struemph; and nephew, Jeremy Struemph.
Janet is survived by sister, Marilyn Starr and husband Marion of Loose Creek; brothers, Victor Struemph and wife Berniece of Freeburg; Joseph Struemph and wife Patricia of Pleasant Hill; and sister-in-law, Brooksie Struemph of Fulton.
A Mass of Christian burial was held Sunday, Sept. 26, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown with the Rev. William D. Debo of Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg officiating. Interment was in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Koeltztown.
Memorial contributions suggested to the Jefferson City Parks and Recreation fund.
Arrangements entrusted to Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna.
