Jean Therese Rosendale, 59, Sedalia, formerly of Freeburg, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, in SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
She as born May 24, 1962, a daughter of the late Francis de Sales Henry and Juliana Marie (Castrop) Luetkemeyer in Freeburg.
She grew up in Freeburg and attended Holy Family School, graduated in 1982 from Fatima High School in Westphalia and in 1986 she graduated from University of Missouri, Columbia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Jean was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg and later while making her home in Sedalia, was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She worked as an accountant for Alcan Cable Company.
Jean was preceded in death by parents, Francis and Juliana.
She is survived by sons, Jacob Rosendale and wife Hillary of Columbia, Luke Rosendale of Kansas City and Noah Rosendale of Sedalia; brothers, Paul Luetkemeyer and wife Donna of Freeburg, and John Luetkemeyer of Columbia; sisters, Mary Koeneman and companion Jay Nies, Rose Dyer and husband Pete and Ruth Jaegers and her husband Bill, all of Jefferson City; Joan Keth and husband Kirby of Westphalia.
Visitation will be held from 10 to11 a.m., Friday, Sept.10, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg with Rev. William D. Debo officiating. Inurnment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery in Freeburg.
