Joan M. (Wright) Damm,76, Cuba/Bland, passed away May 9, 2021.
She was born Oct. 10, 1944 to James M. Wright and Virginia H. (Baumgartner) Wright in in Rushville, Ind.
She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Damm March 17, 1976, in Miami, Okla.
Joan was co-owner/operator of a furniture refinishing store and later worked for Wallis Oil at their bakery in Cuba.
She was preceded in death by husband “Bob”; parents, James and Virginia Wright; brothers Harry and Roy R. Wright and grandmother, Susie Gebhart Nee Baumgartner.
Joan is survived by children, Angie Vaughan and husband Evan of Bland, Michael McQueen and friend Cheryl Harris of Cuba and Angela “Wells” Vick of Mounds, Okla; stepchildren, William “Bill” Damm and Christopher Damm, both of Buffalo; four grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Makenize Hankins of Bland, Benjamin Powers of Pacific and Natalie Hanson of Mounds Okla.; brothers, James M. Wright II and his wife Linda of Fort Wayne, IN and Alan Wright and wife Linda of Mooresville, Ind.
