Larry Allen Hardeman, 73, of Sunrise Beach, formerly of Dixon, passed awayWednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, in NHC Osage Beach Rehab & Health Care Center, Osage Beach.
He was born May 7, 1947, to the late Allen L. and Vera Mae (Mitchell) Hardeman in Dixon.
He was united in marriage to Marilyn Ruth (Goodwin) Anthony Feb. 3, 1989, in Tucson, Ariz.
Larry was a 1965 graduate of the Dixon R-1 High School. He served his country in the U. S. Army and was honorably discharged Jan. 20, 1970.
Larry was employed as a U. S. Marshal until retiring Jan. 3, 1998. He later became a member of the Crocker Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4956 and was active in supporting the U. S. Marshals Service Association.
Larry was preceded in death by parents, Allen and Vera; daughter, Cydney Elaine Visio; and step-father, Herbert Runner.
He is survived by wife, Marilyn of Sunrise Beach; son, Shawn Allen Hardeman and wife Kali of Albuquerque, .M.; daughter, Carey Leigh Dingman and husband Adam of Keller, Texas; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10- 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 8, in the Dixon Cemetery, with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. at the graveside with Rev. Jack Caple officiating. Interment will be in the Dixon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to the United States Marshals Museum, Fort Smith, Ark.
