Larry F. McKague, 78, Hermann, passed away Saturday, Jan.15, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
He was born June 15, 1943, to the late Claron and Violet (Starr) McKague in Mint Hill.
He was united in marriage to Doris (McGuire) McKague Dec. 27, 1965, in Chamois.
Larry proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He was employed with Chrysler Automotive for many years and was also an auctioneer and TV repairman on the side.
Larry enjoyed reading, computers, watching sports, especially the Mizzou Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals, working on his family tree and fishing when he was younger.
He was preceded in death by parents, Claron and Violet; sister, Jean Menes; brother, Vernon McKague, Sr.; and grandchildren, Ricky Bacon and Lillian Gale.
Larry is survived by wife, Doris of Hermann; daughter, Sheila McGuire and husband Rusty of Woodword, Okla.; sons, Laron McKague and wife Evelyn and Wayland McKague and wife Stephanie, all of Hermann; daughters, Kimberly Horn and husband Jason of Vandalia and Lindsay McKague of Hermann; 25 grandchildren;16 great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Gerloff of Chamois; and brother, Joe McKague of Linn.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. (today) Wednesday, Jan. 19th, at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.,Thursday Jan. 20. Interment will be at Mint Hill Cemetery in Chamois.
