OSAGE COUNTY — The Linn Community Betterment Association (LCBA) third annual Artisan’s & Farmer’s Market will open May 1 from 4-6 p.m., at Legends Bank Park (on the Square).
The first 25 customers to make a purchase will receive a Linn Community Betterment Association reusable canvas tote bag and be entered into a drawing for a “basket full of goodies.” Each week the tote bag is brought back and another purchase is made, the customer’s name will be entered again. The drawing will be held at the Market on Thursday, July 17.
“Linn Community Betterment Association’s Artisan’s and Farmer’s Market offers the opportunity for local farmers and artisans to have a location to sell their produce and wares and at the same time, a place for local buyers to pick up unique gift items and locally grown produce,” said LCBA’s Shelley Klebba. “From the beginning two years ago, the market was started as a service to the community of Linn and surrounding area. With the times of 4-6 p.m. once a week on Thursdays during the months of May-August, it allows the local community the chance to purchase goods on their way home from work. The uniqueness and seasonality of the items sold can vary by week giving buyers the perfect reason to come back week after week.”
The vendor fee is $5 per week or $50 per season.
If you offer homegrown or handmade items and are interested in becoming a vendor, please call 573-897-2204 and ask for Shelly Klebba, or email linnbetterment@gmail.com. Vendor applications and forms can also be found on the LCBA Facebook page.
