Donald Trump’s Tax Returns
I have had extensive computer problems, and anticipate that I will be catching up in the future.
I would like to note that both the NY Times and Washington Post are allowing all to access all articles on the ongoing C-10 crisis. They generally limit non-subscribers to 4 articles a month. The NY Times, being “fake news” is enjoying record subscriptions. I have to wonder how Donald Trump, the biggest source of fake news of all, can call anybody a fake. At one time, he endorsed the National Enquirer as good news.
Right now, I want to comment on Charlette Schneider’s criticism of me in regards to Donald Trump’s failure to release his tax returns, as required by law. First, he hid under the guise of “They are still under audit”, without ever producing proof of such. He has stated that he gets audited every year, “Perhaps because I am a Christian.” I have my own opinion of that. Then he gets his Sec. of Treasury, Mnuchin and the head and main legal officers in the IRS to intervene on Trumps behalf. All of them are Trump appointees, and the latter two have had previous financial dealings with Donald Trump. The law is very clear. What part of “Shall be done” do any of these individuals not understand? The case will shortly be heard by the SCOTUS.
Let’s backtrack to Richard Nixon. He appointed 4 Judges to the SCOTUS. During his critical case of release of the tapes, Chief Justice Rehnquist reclused himself. The other three voted for release of the tapes, and that was the end of Richard Nixon. If Judges Kavenaugh and Gorsuch should do the same, and I sadly predict that they won’t. Yes, the system is rigged, and Donald Trump has done much of the rigging.
IMO, all federal politicians should release their tax returns as a condition of running for office and annually thereafter. That is in House Bill HR1, which is sitting on Mitch McConnell’s desk.
“Sunlight is the best disinfectant” we are told. I want to know more about Donald Trump’s relationship to Deutsche Bank and how much be benefitted for the billionaire tax scam that he passed. Donald Trump said in Mar-A-Lago the night that it was passed, “I just made you guys a lot of money.” We do know that at the very last minute, a provision was put in to help billionaire real estate investors, which should include Donald Trump!
The bottom line is What is Donald Trump hiding, and why is he hiding it? The American public have a right to know.
