Dear Editor,
There has been a lot of negative attention drawn to the Linn R2 school district on social media in recent weeks. This truly saddens me because Linn is a wonderful community and has a fantastic school system. A good deal of that negative publicity centers around me. People have indicated they don’t know me and have never met me. They have questioned decisions I’ve made and whether or not those decisions are in the best interest of the school. I would like to invite anyone who has any questions or concerns to contact me. I would be happy to sit down with you and discuss your concerns and answer any questions you have. It is important to remember that I cannot discuss personnel issues, but anything else, I will happily answer as long as it is legal for me to do so and will not violate board policy. I would absolutely love to have the opportunity to meet more people and get to know you as you get to know me. Please email or call me and we can set up a time to talk.
