Linn golf opened the season on Thursday at Osage View and finished third with a score of 227 behind South Callaway (225) and Fatima (162).
“After a week or two of extremely windy conditions, it turned out to be a nice day for the Linn Tri,” said Coach Braden Ham. “It was a nice way to start the season. We get our feet wet and some of the jitters out. I have a hardworking group of good kids that will get better as we go because we will gain more confidence and experience the more tournaments we play.”
Tyler Wolfe led the team with a 45, followed by Devin Brandt (55), Colton Leivian (60), Jake Bish (67), and Olivia Martin (68).
