Like other teams this spring, the Linn JH volleyball squad, midway through its inaugural season, have seen it come to a premature end. “We are in unprecedented territory right now,” said Coach Michelle Kelley. “The goal of our inaugural season was not necessarily about winning; but more focus being put on building skill sets, learning the rules of the game and creating a solid team relationship. Although our season was shortened due to COVID- 19, the girls accomplished their goals and are a part of history at Linn Middle School. The future is bright for these young athletes, and it was an honor to coach them in this inaugural season.” The A team included eighth-grade team captain Kendyl Peters, and fellow eighth-graders Vidella Loughridge, Katrina Mueller, Lori Kixmiller, Natalie Ramsey and Miranda Van Zant, along with seventh-graders Vivien Baker, Alexis Cicero, Harlee Klebba and Rylie Cooper, and team alternate Ava Gregory. The B team included eighth-grade team captain Faith Hines, and fellow eighth-graders Reagan Klouzek, Brooklyn Sweet and Reece Griffith, and seventh-graders Bren Hamil, Reghan Cole, Allison Peters, Madison Mengwasser, Gracie Schaefer and Courtney Wood. Team Managers were Andrew Ely, Maddie Reichart and Hannah Hackmann.
