Linn’s track team ended its season at Saturday’s Class 2, Sectional 2 meet at South Callaway, but Coach Jennifer Bish is pleased with how the athletes performed.
“I’m incredibly proud of the way our athletes competed last weekend,” she said. “Every one of them showed heart, grit, and determination against some of the toughest competition we’ve seen all season. While we didn’t have anyone advance to state, the effort and progress each athlete made throughout the year is something to celebrate. These moments — where we come up short but still give everything — are where character is built. I couldn’t ask for a better group to coach, and I know this experience will only fuel their fire for next season.”
