Luke H. Fick,60,Loose Creek, passed away Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, at his residence.

He was born July 27, 1960, to  Joseph J. and Loretta “Dorothy” (Scheulen) Fick, in Jefferson City.

Luke was a 1978 graduate of Linn High School. He was employed by Ferrellgas in Loose Creek for 40 years. Luke was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Loose Creek.

He enjoyed drinking beer, barbecuing, driving county roads, socializing with people, watching his favorite TV  show - Andy Griffith, working on the farm and baling hay, bowling, and he was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

  Luke was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Loretta; sister, JoAnn Backes; and brother-in-law, Carter Peters, Jr.

He is survived by son, Jeff  Fick and wife Ashley of Loose Creek; daughters, Megan Haslag and husband Shaun of Bonnots Mill, and Cami Bowman and husband Anthony of Loose Creek; grandchildren, Carson and Chloe Fick, Makenna, Savanna, and Aliza Haslag, Mila Hagedorn and Corbin Bowman; brothers, Mark Fick and wife Teresa of Columbia and Matt Fick and wife Linda of Chamois; sisters, Carol Cronhardt and husband Jack of Columbia, Ellen Little of Richmond, Texas, Rose Backes and husband Terry of Linn and Mary Peters-Koenigsfeld and husband Andy of Bonnots Mill; brother-in-law, Glenn Backes of Frankenstein; and many nieces, nephews and friends. 

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11a.m., Monday, Aug. 24, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Fr. Colin Franklin officiating.  Interment was in the St. George Parish Cemetery in Linn.
