Mariland Hackmann, 89, Linn, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025, at University Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.
She was born June 16, 1935, to the late Hugh and Ida (Lange) McGuire in Fredericksburg.
She attended school in Fredericksburg.
Mariland was united in marriage to Clarence H. Hackmann Feb. 3, 1951, in Morrison.
She was a member of St. George Catholic Church.
Mariland enjoyed deer and squirrel hunting, fishing, playing cards and quilting.
She was preceded in death by spouse of 46 years, Clarence; parents, Hugh and Ida; daughters, Yvonne Hackmann, Lola Jolly and Dianna Aday; four brothers; and three sisters.
Mariland is survived by son, Leonard Hackmann and wife Mary Lou of Linn; daughters, Joyce Goodding and husband Jeffrey of Linn and Patricia Pombo of the state of Utah; sister, Doris McKague of Hermann; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, May 13, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Rev. Colin Franklin officiating. Interment was held in St. George Parish Cemetery.
