Mary Jane Durbin, 75, of Bland, Mo., passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 4, 1948, to John Laverne and Thelma Mable (Jett) Duncan in Owensville.
She was united in marriage to Larry Dale Durbin July 23, 1966, in Owensville.
Mary Jane was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church where she had been very active. She helped with Relay for Life and enjoyed singing in church and at funerals. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid hunter, especially deer hunting. She loved spending time with family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, John and Thelma; daughter, Dawn Renee Vinson; sisters, Delores Seba and Carol Fischer; and sister-in-law, Joyce Duncan.
She is survived by her husband, Larry of their home; children, Jared Durbin and wife Patti and Joni Sullinger and husband Kale all of Bland; siblings, Larry Duncan and wife Margaret, Glen Duncan and wife Joyce, Richard Duncan and Donna Jones and husband Craig all of Owensville; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and another one on the way.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 30, from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church at a later date.
