Melba Irene Lee, 87, Dixon, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at her residence in Dixon.
She was born Feb. 21, 1935, to Gale and Grace (VanMiddlesworth) Kruschensky in Canton, Ill.
She was united in marriage to Francis Lee Feb. 21, 1957, in St. David, Ill.
Melba was a member of the Hephzibah Holiness Church in Dixon. She was employed in childcare and as a homebound care giver during her working life.
She was preceded in death by husband, Francis; parents, Gale and Grace; and brother, Paul Leonard Kruschensky.
Melba is survived by sisters, Carolyn Bittner of Peoria, Ill. and Janet Yocum of Canton, Ill.
The funeral service was held Monday, June 6, in the Hephzibah Holiness Church in Dixon with Rev. Archie Atwell officiating.
Interment was in the Dixon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to the Phelps Health Hospice or the Hephzibah Holiness Church.
