Merle Elizabeth Louise Schutt, nee Beckmann, 101, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, at StoneBridge Herman.
She was born June 8, 1919 to John Albert and Ida Louise Koch Beckmann at their home near McKittrick.
She was united in marriage to Walter William John Schutt Oct. 27, 1940, in Union.
Merle was preceded in death by parents, John and Ida; husband, Walter; infant son Robert; grandson, David Flowers; step-grandson John Struttmann,.
She is survived by nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two step-greatgrandchildren; one great-great- grandaughter; and one step-great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 23rd from 9:30 to 11a.m. followed by the funeral at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann. Interment will be at Loutre Island Cemetery in McKittrick.
