Phyllis Marlene Smith, 67, Columbia, formerly of Dixon, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, in The Neighborhoods by Tiger Place in Columbia.
She was born Dec. 17, 1953, to Farris Arnold and Iris Ellen (Alexander) Dake in Iberia.
She was united in marriage to Larry Donald Smith, Sr. June 25, 1994, in Columbia.
Phyllis had been employed during her working life as well as being a devoted housewife and homemaker.
She was a member of Church of Christ.
Phyllis was preceded in death by spouse, Larry; and parents, Farris and Iris.
She is survived by son, Justin Smith of Columbia; two grandchildren; brothers, Roger Dake and wife Lorie of Spring City, Tenn.; Royce Dake wife Cindy of Ulm, Mont., and Gail Dake of Eldon.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, Feb. 9 in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Dixon with Brendan S. Carr, Dixon Church of Christ, officiating.
