Robert “Bob” Joseph Boillot, 74, Linn, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at Westphalia Hills.

He was born Dec. 10, 1946, in St. Louis and was adopted by his loving parents, the late Raymond A. and Bernadine C. (Maasen) Boillot in 1947. He grew up in Osage County (Bonnots Mill and Linn) and was very proud of his Massen and Boillot families who were a special part of his life.

Bob graduated from Linn High School in 1963 and from Lincoln University in 1967 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He completed his formal education in 1986 with a Master of Business Administration from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn.

Bob was a four-year veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 to 1971. He was stationed in Texas, Turkey and Okinawa, Japan. Bob’s varied career included 21 years in accounting and finance with Sprint and seven years as a correction officer with the Missouri Department of Corrections.

He was an avid fan of the Linn Wildcats, the Cardinals, Royals and the Missouri Tigers. Bob was a member of the Linn Lions Club and St. George Catholic Church in Linn.

He was preceded in death by adopted parents, Raymond and Bernadine; many aunts, uncles and other family members.

Bob is survived by very special friend, Judy Wilder of Jefferson City as well as another close friend, Deena Miller of Jefferson City; son, Daniel Boillot of Austin, Texas; stepdaughters, Eva (Malcolm) Hawker and husband Malcolm of Cedar Park, Texas, Erika King and husband Kevin and Dr. Elisa Schuetz and friend Mark Bell, all from Bristol, Tenn.; grandchildren, Donovan, Christina and Lydia Laskaris, Orrin King and Ada and Andrew Bell; ex-wife, Ellen M. Jordan and husband Ken of Austin Texas; and many cousins. A special thanks to Mark Loethen who assisted Bob in his later years.

Graveside Service will be held at a later date at St. George Parish Cemetery in Linn
