Roger Allen Uffelman, 88, Chamois, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at his home.
He was born Sept. 20, 1932, to the late John and Della (Lalk) Uffelman in Gasconade.
He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army.
Roger worked as an engineer for the US Army Corps of Engineers for 35 years before retiring.
He was a member of the Gasconade Union Church and of the American Legion Post #0366 of New Haven for more than 50 years.
Roger was preceded in death by parents, John and Della; and sister, Pat Jones.
He is survived by daughter, Cheryl Wood and husband Bill of Chamois; sisters, Lois Hassinger of Zionsville, Ind., Donna Riley and husband Gerald of Hermann, Judy Derks of Jefferson City and Janet Buscher of Jefferson City; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., (today) Wednesday, July 7 and funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 8, both at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann.
Interment will be at Gasconade Cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to Gasconade Union Church or Gasconade Cemetery.
