Roman Henry Even, 83, Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Roman was born Feb. 7, 1937 to Charles and Angela (Hagenhoff) Even, in Westphalia.
He was united in marriage Oct. 20, 1962, to Carolyn Duncan at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Jefferson City.
Roman was a 1955 graduate of Fatima High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was manager of Willibrand’s Tire & DX for 42 years. Roman was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the church Dream Team, Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Daniel Carlson; and brother, Leroy.
He is survived by wife, Carolyn; daughters, Kelly Carlson of Fulton, Patricia Klenklen and husband Chris of Columbia; and Angela Even of Jefferson City; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., (today) June 24, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Jefferson City with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 25, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson City with the Rev. Donald J. Antweiler officiating. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
