Ronald R. Brandt, 72, Linn, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 6, 1948, to the late Raymond and Estella (Hasenbeck) Brandt in Linn.
He was united in marriage to Dee Hartley Aug. 25, 1990 in Linn.
Ronald was a 1966 graduate of Linn High School and a graduate of Linn State Technical College. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. After being discharged from the Army, Ronald went to work for King Radio in Olathe, Kan. and then at Unilever in Jefferson City until his retirement. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn.
Ronald enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing, and he always had a smile on his face and enjoyed watching kids play.
He was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Estella; great-grandson, Wyatt Newbound; sister, Reva Brandt; brother, Bruce Brandt; sister-in-law, Mary Brand; and brother-in-law, Donald Lansford.
Ronald is survived by wife of 30 years, Dee; children, James Clemmer and Tonya Newbound, both of Linn, Tina and Kevin Brandt, both of the state of Kansas; grandchildren, Kaylee and Kaycee Newbound, Adam, David, Quentin and Samantha; great- grandson, Kayden Newbound; sisters, Kathleen Yonker, Vickie Lansford, Rhonda Kremer, Christa Daume and Laura Nestell; special friends, Danny and Edith Kirsch and Ted Haling; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Inurnment with full military honors will be held at St. George Parish Cemetery in Linn.
