Sandra Noel “Sandy” Stone, 68, Jefferson City, passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, in SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, Jefferson City.
She was born March 18, 1952, at Washington.
She was united in marriage to Louis Steven “Steve” Stone, May 12, 1972, at Jefferson City.
Sandy attended First Baptist Church in Belle and was a member of First Baptist Church in Jefferson City. She was a 1970 graduate of Belle High School. Sandy worked for over 30 years at the Missouri Highway Patrol General Headquarters in Jefferson City in the crime lab as an evidence control clerk and later as an administrative office manager, prior to her retirement in 2012.
She was preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Ruby; husband, Steve; and brother, Walter Laverne Krone.
She is survived by children, Patrick Louis Stone and wife Jennifer of Independence, Douglas Aaron Stone of Springfield and Christina Denise Stone of Jefferson City; sister, Juanita Barton of Jefferson City; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held (today) Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 12-1 p.m. at Union Hill Cemetery, Vienna, with graveside funeral services following with Rev. Melissa Hatfield officiating. Face masks and social distancing guidelines are required. Memorial contributions suggested to The Sandra Stone Flower Fund.
