OSAGE COUNTY — Chamois High School student Jack Schollmeyer took first place among male archers at the 2025 NASP Championship held in Myrtle Beach, S.C., June 5 - 7.
Schollmeyer shot 297 with 27 tens, beating 104 11th-grade boys, 452 high-school boys, and 1,604 boys overall.
Schollmeyer received a trophy, a Mathew’s Lift X bow, and Morrell target for winning first overall male.
He received a plaque, medal, blue Genesis bow, and second Morrell target for winning first in the high school male division.
He also received a $2,000 scholarship for being the first place high school male academic archer.
Seven other Osage County students competed as well.
Also from Chamois R-1, Carly Schollmeyer (academic archer) shot 288 with 20 tens, earning eighth place among 224 eighth-grade girls, 11th place out of 627 middle school girls, and 27th place among 1,522 girls overall.
Olivia Hord (academic archer) shot 285, 19 tens, earning 10th place of 216 seventh-grade girls, 23rd place of 627 middle school girls, and 58th of 1,522 girls overall.
Evert Mehmert (academic archer) shot 280 with 12 tens, earning 41st out of 104 11th-grade boys, 150th among 452 high school boys, and 248th out of 1,604 boys overall.
Brieanna Keilholz (academic archer) shot 263 with 8 tens, earning 77th of 130 10th-grade girls, 266th of 454 high school girls, and 594th of 1,522 girls overall.
Emma Mehmert (academic archer) shot 223 with 3 tens, earning 126th of 130 10th-grade girls, 439th of 454 high school girls, and 1,303 of 1,522 girls overall.
At the elementary level, Hank Schollmeyer (academic archer) shot 249 with 5 tens, earning 42nd of 196 4th-grade boys, 178th of 471 elementary boys, and 1,017 out of 1,604 boys overall.
From Linn R-2, Luke Scheulen shot 282 with 14 tens, earning eighth place of 275 fifth-grade boys, 10th of 471 elementary boys, and 191st of 1,604 boys overall.
