Several Pirates medal at conference track meet

Chamois track athletes traveled to New Bloomfield on Thursday for the high school Show-Me Conference meet, with several earning medals.

“It was a really good conference meet and the kids did a great job in all of the events,” said Coach John Leach. “I am very proud of them.”

Madeline Gerloff earned a second-place medal for her 13:51 in the 3200m run, and Caleb Keilholz placed fourth in the event with a time of 11:33 and medaled because there were three Fatima runners in the event. Keilholz was also third in the 1600m run (5:16), and ran part of the second-place 3200m relay (9:23) with Bill Kirsch, Evert Mehmert, and Jaxon Wuelling. .

Kaden Wuelling was third in the 300m hurdles (47.55) to round out Chamois medalists.
