St. George harriers had a good day at last Wednesday’s meet at Cole County Park as Evan Klouzek finished second in 9:01 to lead the boys’ team.
Next to cross was Owen Jaegers (41, 10:43), followed by James Voss (55, 11:27), Hayden Jaegers (57, 11:29), Sam Heckman (91, 13:18), and Oliver Sullentrup (109, 18:57).
On the girls’ side, Kimber Bennett posted a fifth-place time of 10:14, followed by Claire Sullentrup (11, 10:55), Harper Lenger (14, 11:05), Lizzie Voss (15, 11:07), Adalyn Brandt (26, 11:39), Amelia Brandt (31, 11:54), Marla Sprenger (45, 13:15), Chloe Rikard (49, 13:43), Annabelle Niehart (52, 13:58), and Grace Terry (57, 14:18).
At the Riverside Park meet on Oct. 9, Bennett’s time of 10:43 was good for sixth as Sullentrup was ninth in 11:19, followed by Lenger (10, 11:19), Voss (13, 11:28), Brandt (24, 12:34), Brandt (29, 12:53), Sprenger (42, 14:19), Rikard (45, 14:28), Terry (57, 16:03), and Niehart (58, 16:12).
Klouzek led the Warriors in the boys’ race with a seventh-place run of 9:33. Voss crossed next in 10:47 for 33rd place, followed by O. Jaegers (50, 11:36), H. Jaegers (64, 12:31), Heckman (91, 14:25), and Sullentrup (103, 17:58).
