Thomas Edward Kleffner, 62, Affton, formerly of Brinktown, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021, at his residence. 

He was born Aug.18,1958, to the late Leo Henry, Sr. and Teresa Faye (Grempczynski) Kleffner in Dixon.

He was a 1976 graduate of the Maries R-1 High School in Vienna.  Tom was a member of  the Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Brinktown, prior to moving to the St. Louis area where he lived for most of his life.  He had worked on the family farm in his earlier years and as a machinist for Weir Minerals Lewis Pumps in St. Louis, until June of 2020.

Tom was preceded in death by parents, Leo and Teresa;  brothers, Gary Kleffner and infant Paul Kleffner; niece, Christina Crider; and great-nephew, Blake Wagner. 

 He is survived by  children, Justin Kleffner and wife Kristen, Joshua Kleffner and wife Maggie and Sarah Luetkemeyer and husband Trevor; seven grandchildren; girlfriend, Amy Schmidt of Meta; brothers and sisters, Leo Kleffner, Jr. and wife Susan of Vienna, Ruth Ann Yarbrough and husband Ron of Lake Ozark, Helen Steward and husband Kevin of Sturgeon,  Becky Wieberg and husband Mike of Argyle, Mary Wagner and husband Clifford of Vienna, Mike Kleffner and wife Robin of Brinktown, Don Kleffner and wife Laurie of Argyle, Mark Kleffner and wife Tammy of Vienna and Pat Kleffner and wife Carrie of Vienna.

  A Mass of Christian burial was held Friday, May 7, at the Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Brinktown with Rev. Basil Tigga officiating. Interment was  in the Holy Guardian Angels Cemetery.
