Troy Patrick Grellner, 27, Jefferson City, formerly of Linn passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 25, 1994, to Michael and Connie (Dudenhoeffer) Grellner in Jefferson City.
He was a 2013 graduate of Linn High School and a 2018 graduate of Lincoln University with a BS in History.
Troy was employed as a job developer with MERS Goodwill Career Center in Jefferson City.
He was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Linn.
Troy enjoyed playing video games, cornhole, deer hunting and watching football especially his favorite team the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a history and movie buff and loved hanging out with his friends. Troy was always the life of the party and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a very caring person always willing to help another person out.
Troy was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Veronica Grellner.
He is survived by parents, Michael and Connie; brother, Tyler Grellner of Linn; sisters, Amber Grellner of Jefferson City and Autumn Grellner of Linn; paternal grandfather, Frederick Grellner of Linn; maternal grandparents, Harold and Betty Dudenhoeffer of Linn; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., (today) Wednesday, Nov. 2, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn followed by a Mass of Christian burial with Fr. Colin Franklin officiating. Private family interment will be in the Wright Cemetery near Linn.
