Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wilbers of Bonnots Mill will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and trip at a later date.
Louis Wilbers and Iris Brauner were married Aug. 22, 1970, at Immaculate Conception Church in Loose Creek. The Rev. Kevin Gormley officiated.
They were attended by Nina Holtmeyer, Margaret Scheulen, Kathy Strope, Shirley Wilbers (deceased), Beth Holtmeyer, Lisa Kempker, Kenneth Wilbers, James Wilbers, Mike Wilbers, Daryl Hammond, and Dan Brauner.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbers have three children, Laura (Melvin) Distler, Julie (Josh) Luebbering, and Kevin (Liz) Wilbers.
They also have nine grandchildren, Patrick and Caleb Distler, Erika, Allison, Megan and Brenda Luebbering, Renee,Taylor and Wyatt Wilbers.
