Linn’s varsity volleyball team had another solid week, going 3-0 after Thursday’s 25-4, 25-18, 25-8 win over New Bloomfield.
“We had another great week, but we are trying to hone our mental game, which improved throughout the week,” said Coach Megan Russell. “The girls still found ways to win despite not being fully locked in, which says a lot about their resilience.”

On Wednesday, the Lady Cats took a break from routine practice to visit Harbor Place residents. “It is a really long season with so much packed into a short amount of time, so it was nice to reset and do a little team bonding outside of the gym,” said Russell.
On Tuesday, Linn defeated Eugene, 25-19, 25-8, 25-14.
“We had another poor night of serving, with 18 errors,” said Russell. “That’s unacceptable and we are planning to mentally hone back in as service points are crucial in games.”
