JEFFERSON CITY – Mid America Bank is pleased to announce Jason Walters has been hired as Assistant Vice President, Director of Information Technology (IT). In this role, Walters will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bank’s hardware, software, and computer networks. He will also work to help continuously improve and enhance existing systems while ensuring system security and internal controls.

Walters brings over 25 years of IT experience to the team, which includes management in public and private sectors. He has held roles from end-user support, web, and database administration to Enterprise Architect and IT Director. “I look forward to helping the bank leverage the latest technology to enhance and secure the client experience,” said Walters, who resides in the Jefferson City area with his wife Taya, two daughters, Kayla and Olivia, and Aussie dog Minnie.

In his free time, he enjoys working on cars, experimenting with new technology, sailing and roasting coffee. He is a Board Member with the Capital City Sailing Association.
