Linn maintenance employees and local youngsters work on removing the old playground at the City Park. Inclusive Playground committee member Osage County Special Services Director Megan Reichart said the city needs to finish removing the equipment and pea gravel. Volunteers will then come do the ground-leveling and prepare for the concrete to be poured, weather permitting. The new equipment is due to be delivered around Jan. 15, but can’t be installed until the concrete is completed. Reichart noted the committee still expects a spring completion date as long as there are no major issues.
