Timothy John “Tim” McNamara, 71, Vienna, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Phelps Health Medical Center in Rolla.
He was born Nov. 28, 1952, a son of Laverne and Flora (Stewart) McNamara in New York.
He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Tim was united in marriage to Marjorie Ellen Coop in May of 1998, in Vienna.
He worked as a truck driver hauling cattle for Stratman Trucking, and along with his wife, ran Margie’s Café.
Tim was preceded in death by parents, Laverne and Flora; granddaughter, Destiny Gladden; and brothers, Dennis and Kevin McNamara.
He is survived by wife, Marjorie of Vienna; son, Robert McNamara of Dixon; daughters, Kriste Neher of Virginia Beach, Va. and Shannon Cummings of North Carolina; step-son, Denver Pelc of Vienna; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. (Noon), (today) Wednesday, March 27, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna, with full military honors to follow outside the funeral home.
