Abigail Warden, daughter of Dennis and Connie Warden, has taken the UD all the way to CERN in Meyrin, Switzerland. She is working on her PhD in Physics from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Abby will be there for two years. She is standing in front of the CERN Globe which is an interactive exhibition for visitors. CERN is an international organization, hosting scientists from all over the world. CERN services multiple high energy experiments, which seek to understand the fundamental constituents of matter and consequently pushing the very frontier of technology.
