Well-wishers line Main Street to see Cody Fulkerson off on Saturday as he and his wife, Amanda Grellner, headed to Houston, Texas, to begin the process of a stem-cell transplant in his fight against leukemia. The were given an escort by Sheriff Mike Bonham and Fulkerson thanked other members of law enforcement, including MSHP Troop F Sgt. Kent Kreftmeyer and Cpl. Coby Holzschuh, the Linn Police Department, MSHP Troop I Sgt. Steve Cunningham, the Rolla Police Department, and the Phelps County Sheriff’s Office. The send-off was organized by Linn resident Kristal Hall.
